Pause was created with the great help of Michael Berelejis (coding) and Shahar Shirly (sound).

Pause tosses you into its void, leaving you to your own curiosity. There’s a nothingness that fades away as you walk toward it, and the world fills up with wonders.
This game embodies the idea that we are thrown into this world and, as if by default, go ahead and explore it and our path within a set of given circumstances.

When designing the game, I was thinking about a path that goes on taking shape according to our choices, but also according to circumstances and the other people who are joining our journey or opting out of it; the human ability to search for meaning; and the small details or minor incidents that affect a person's choice, whether consciously or not. To be a part of the experience, participants must play an active role; they must roam and discover the space. From time to time, they are also welcome to stop and simply observe. When they choose not to resume activity, their individual wandering comes to an end.

Created using Unity, Cinema 4D, and Live Drawings.
Interactive art, and Storytelling.
